ADM has released its 2026 Flavour and Colour Trends report, forecasting that personal resilience will be the defining influence on food and beverage trends in 2026.

The company predicts that consumers will continue to use food and drink as a way to manage stress, support wellbeing and reconnect with moments of joy. ADM’s global outlook highlights three major areas expected to shape flavour, colour and product innovation next year: Authentic wellbeing, Give me more, and Newstalgia dreamland.

Authentic wellbeing

The ongoing focus on health and longevity is driving demand for food and beverages that support both physical and mental wellbeing. ADM notes that orange and yellow hues, alongside bright citrus and creamy flavours, are gaining traction with consumers seeking wholesome, nourishing experiences.
