Asda has recalled its Mini Duck Spring Rolls nationwide after an incorrect use-by date raised consumer safety concerns.

Asda recalls Mini Duck Spring Rolls party snack over incorrect use-by date

Asda is urgently recalling its 10 Mini Duck Spring Rolls with Hoisin Dip from shelves after finding the party snack carried the wrong use-by date.

The supermarket said the 220g packs displayed the wrong use-by date, listing 29 December 2025 rather than 29 November 2025. The mislabelling prompted immediate withdrawal of the item from stores and a customer safety alert.

Asda is recalling the product and has placed point-of-sale notices in affected stores. These notices explain why Asda is withdrawing the spring rolls and tell customers what to do if they have bought them.

Shoppers who have bought the spring rolls are urged not to consume them and are instead advised to return the packs to their nearest Asda store for a full refund. The retailer confirmed you do not need your receipt. Customers seeking further information can contact Asda Customer Relations on 0800 952 0101.

The recall follows a similar move by Tesco earlier this week. The retailer removed its Celery, Fruit and Nut Salad from sale after confirming the presence of undeclared mustard in the mayonnaise element of the product, which had not been listed on the label. The omission posed a potential health risk to consumers with mustard allergies.
