Nestlé has expanded its air fryer food product range across North and South America to meet growing demand for convenient, flavourful meals made using the increasingly popular appliance.

The global food giant has launched a variety of new air fryer-suitable options in the US, Chile and Mexico, including ready meals, seasonings and cooking sleeves. The initiative is part of Nestlé’s broader strategy to deliver “delicious meal moments” while tapping into evolving consumer habits.

“Consumers across the Americas are now increasingly using the air fryer to create wholesome meal moments,” said Nikhil Chand, Head of Food Strategic Business Unit at Nestlé S.A. “We want to support them with air fryer-specific recipes, featured on digital platforms like Recetas Nestlé, and products.”

The move comes as the global air fryer market is projected to reach US$7.12 billion in revenue in 2025, with an expected annual growth rate of 9.54 percent between 2025 and 2030, highlighting a significant opportunity for food companies.

New products launched

In the US, where air fryer usage continues to rise and an estimated 60 percent of households own an air fryer, Nestlé has launched three new Stouffer’s meals – Teriyaki Chicken, Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Orange Chicken. Early consumer feedback has praised their taste, texture and ease of preparation. Nestlé has also adapted its Hot Pockets range for air frying, enhancing crispiness.

Meanwhile in Mexico, the company has introduced Maggi seasoned papyrus sleeves, patented wrappers that infuse flavour and retain moisture when wrapped around proteins or vegetables and cooked in an air fryer. In Chile, Maggi air fryer seasoning has launched to engage younger generations interested in quick, minimal-prep meals.

“These innovations contain the ideal combination of ingredients to cater to local flavor profiles and trends and deliver authentic taste experiences,” said Swen Rabe, Head of Nestlé’s Research and Development Center in Singen, Germany.

Nestlé considers modern cooking solutions one of its six “big bets” for 2025, with the potential to generate over 100 million Swiss francs in annual sales. The Americas expansion builds on Nestlé’s global roll-out of air fryer products in markets including the UK, Australia, Malaysia and China.
