Coca-Cola returns as Premier League’s official soft drink sponsor, launching a three-year deal with exclusive fan experiences.

The Coca-Cola Company has confirmed its return as the official soft drink partner of the Premier League, signing a three-year deal starting from the 2025/26 season.

The deal re-establishes Coca-Cola as the official soft drink partner of the world’s most-watched football league, promising exclusive fan activations, on-pack promotions and enhanced matchday experiences across the UK and Ireland.

Multiple brands from Coca-Cola’s portfolio, including Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Powerade and Smartwater, will feature in the sponsorship, which also extends to the upcoming Premier League Summer Series.

Will Brass, Premier League Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are delighted to welcome back Coca-Cola as the Official Soft Drink Partner of the Premier League. Coca-Cola is loved and enjoyed by millions around the world, much like the Premier League, and bring years of experience in top level sport sponsorship and fan engagement. We look forward to working together over the coming seasons to drive further success for us both through this expansive, exciting partnership.”

Javier Meza, President of Marketing, Europe at Coca-Cola, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Premier League, the most competitive and compelling football league in the world. Football and the Premier League is a global passion, and we look forward to uplifting fans and making their experience even better by bringing them closer to the action.”

Rich history in English football

Coca-Cola’s renewed partnership continues a rich history with English football. The company was previously the title sponsor of the English Football League (EFL) from 2004 to 2010 and backed the League Cup throughout the 1990s. It initially joined the Premier League as a partner in the 2018/19 season, promoting multiple brands before the deal expired in 2022.

Globally, Coca-Cola also maintains football sponsorships with FIFA, UEFA, Major League Soccer and FC Barcelona, reinforcing its strategic focus on football as a key platform to connect with fans worldwide.
