The EU has lifted the ban on PAP as feed for non-ruminants (ie, poultry and pigs). The ban had been put in place in the 1990s following BSE (mad cow disease) outbreak in the UK which to the led to the culling of millions of cattle and deaths of almost 200 people. The feed remains prohibited for cattle, however.  

Do you know what Natasha’s Law is? Well, four in 10 in the industry don’t – that’s according to new research from GS1 UK which also revealed that 8 in 10 businesses feel unprepared for the legislation which will come into effect next month.

Online food marketplace Shef will fast-track the registrations of Afghan refugees on its platform in order to provide a stable income. The company has also set aside more than three thousand dollars per refugee to help pay for cooking supplies and food safety training.
