Europe’s soft drinks industry says it will reduce average added sugars in its beverages by another 10 percent across Europe.
The Close the Glass Loop platform has the objective to achieve a post-consumer glass container collection target of 90 percent, and to ensure that this is recycled into the container glass production loop to come back as a new packaging.
A mid-term review on the European soft drinks industry shows a significant reduction in average sugars from 2015-2017.
