After nearly a decade off the menu, the McDonald’s Snack Wrap is set to return to participating restaurants across the US on 10 July 2025, the company has announced.
What’s in a Snack Wrap?
The McDonald’s Snack Wrap is a flour tortilla filled with an all-white meat McCrispy Strip, shredded lettuce and shredded cheese. It will be available in two flavors: Spicy, featuring a habanero kick, and Ranch, offering a creamy, garlicky twist.

This time the McDonald’s Snack Wrap is making a permanent comeback after years of fan demand. Originally discontinued in 2016 due to underwhelming sales and time-consuming construction, some franchises continued selling them independently. However, in 2020, as part of menu simplification during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Snack Wrap was removed from menus nationwide.According to McDonald’s, customers can order the McDonald’s Snack Wrap individually or as part of a combo meal that includes two wraps, medium fries and a drink.
Back by consumer demand
Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s USA, acknowledged the product’s cult following in December last year when he first teased its return.
While fans waited, competitors including Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Burger King and Popeyes introduced their own versions of chicken wraps, intensifying the battle for market share.
McDonald’s has also launched a dedicated website, snackwrapfiles.com, to share behind-the-scenes content and updates on the product’s return.
The company’s move reflects a response to sustained consumer demand and shows how fast-food chains increasingly turn to social media and petitions to influence menu decisions.
