Suma, the UK’s largest independent wholefood wholesaler/distributor, specialising in vegetarian, fairly traded, organic, ethical and natural products, has recalled its unsalted Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter because it may contain a foreign body, which could be a choking hazard.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a Product Recall Information Notice.

The product being recalled is:

Product: Suma unsalted Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter
‘Best before’ end: 10 April 2016
Size: 700g
Batch code: 10.04.16 L1228

No other Suma products are known to be affected.

Suma has recalled the product from customers and displayed point-of-sale recall notices in stores. These notices tell customers about the recall.

If you have bought the above product, do not consume it. Instead, please return it to the store from where it was bought for a refund.
