The new GEA UK country organisation made its debut at Foodex, 18-20 April 2016, showcasing their wide-ranging portfolio for the food industry.
GEA displayed technologies such as the packaging solutions GEA SmartPacker CX250 and GEA Power Pak as well as the GEA Grasso M compressor among many other products.
During the past years many customers had indicated to GEA their need for a more integrated approach to enhance the current reliable and efficient solutions and services for their facilities. With this in mind, GEA embarked worldwide on a ground breaking group alignment to ensure GEA can offer the most advanced, efficient solutions and services in the market out of one point of contact – the new GEA country organisations.
With the new country organisation in the UK there is just one face for all UK customers which provides all GEA offerings. This is a vast difference especially when it comes to cross sector projects, although the product and service portfolio remains unchanged.
GEA has a wide-ranging portfolio that spans almost across the entire food chain, for example most of the products sold in supermarkets have been in contact with its technology.
Ilija Aprcovic, GEA UK Managing Director, said: “We have embarked on an incredible journey and Foodex was a great platform to highlight the products and services we can offer the food industry. We also had the opportunity to meet with new and existing customers and are looking forward to an exciting future.”
