A record-breaking edition for professionals from food-processing companies!

The event was a resounding success, bringing together all players in the food-processing sector: 1,300 exhibitors and 17,046 visitors. It turned out to be a federating event for companies, with attendance 5% higher than in 2014. This edition of CFIA was full of positive energy, as professionals looked for investing opportunities, asked questions, and conceptualized a number of projects.

Exhibition highlights

The exhibition dedicated to the food-processing sector is a great opportunity to boost your professional network and fine-tune your strategy. CFIA promotes quality and quantity and strives to provide food-processing companies with the best products and services to support this promising sector that posts revenues of €160.5 billion … This sector represents a dense network of over 11,852 companies, 98% of which are micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. (Source Ania). The presence of nationally and locally recognized organizations and institutions reflects the event’s representativeness, along with the relevant activities related to the major issues facing the sector, all bundled in a participatory and unifying dynamic. Beyond the relevant issues addressed at the conferences, the 2015 edition targeted a range of new manufacturing challenges that are at the very heart of the event.

Assessment of these three days? A heavily attended 19th edition of CFIA, which met its goals of strengthening its position as the leading event for food-processing companies. It ended on a very positive note, with the promise of a successful and festive 20th anniversary edition in 2016!
