October sees Kerry Foods enter the Frozen Vegetables & Accompaniments category with the launch of products from two of the nation’s favourite brands, Paxo and Sharwood’s. Kerry Foods aims to recruit and convert shoppers into the frozen sector using these two iconic brands that are recognised and trusted by consumers for their quality.

Paxo is the brand leader in stuffing and the launch of Paxo Stuffing Balls will be the brand’s first foray into the frozen food aisle. The launch offers consumers the well-known, trusted Paxo name, which is synonymous with stuffing, in a convenient format. Paxo Stuffing Balls make meals easier and quicker, with delicious golden stuffing balls ready in the microwave in just 1½ minutes* or 25 minutes in the oven.  With the launch timed to capitalise on the Christmas season, Paxo Stuffing Balls are available in bag format, each containing 12 sage and onion stuffing balls at a RRSP of £1.50 per 300g pack.

Sharwood’s is already the number one in Indian & Chinese frozen ready meals and ethnic ambient cooking sauces and accompaniments. This latest addition to the Sharwood’s portfolio ensures consumers have perfectly cooked rice with the convenience of being microwavable in just 3 minutes. The launch consists of a range of six steamed rice bags, each containing two rice steamer pouches.
