Retro brand Rola Cola makes a comeback with re-brand

Soft drinks manufacturer, bottler and distributor, CBL Drinks, is re-launching iconic fizzy soft drink, Rola Cola, to wholesalers and retailers nationwide following a surge in demand.

The ‘retro’ soft drink – made infamous by comedian Peter Kay – has recently undergone a re-brand and redefined its taste profile. Rola Cola is the value-for-money alternative to other cola soft drinks on the market with its classic style cola flavour and zero sugar. Rola Cola offers the drinks trade a Cola category alternative at a great price whilst promising an excellent premium taste.

Maurice Newton, Sales and Marketing Director at CBL Drinks, said “We felt that with high branded cola market pricing, reintroduction was an opportunity that offered genuine value for consumers and an opportunity for trade customers. Value for money is a critical factor for shoppers so the opportunity to make a great tasting cola at a good price just had to be addressed.”

The re-brand was necessary for Rola Cola as CBL really wanted to emphasise the ‘retro’ feel the drink represents whilst adding a modern edge. The red, white and blue colours remain on the packaging, which denotes all things British.
