The board of the European Snacks Association (ESA) elected Philip Myers, Vice President Public Policy and Government Affairs for Europe for PepsiCo, as the new president of the European Snacks Association (ESA). Philip Myers takes over the presidency for the next two years. He succeeds to Anne Klanke, member of corporate management at Lorenz Snack-World.

For Philip Myers, “Millions of people across Europe enjoy snacks of one kind or another and the snacks industry has a great story to tell – the range we offer, our on-going efforts in terms of product reformulation, and our responsible approach when it comes to advertising and marketing”.

Sebastian Emig, ESA’s Director General, strongly welcomes the board’s decision: “With Philip Myers the association can rely on the considerable talent and expertise of a seasoned public affairs and communications specialist, who knows Brussels in and out, and at the same time provides a great overview of various European markets. I am looking forward to a fruitful cooperation to build an even stronger ESA that maximises value for all our members.”
