In this application, offline derivatisation of hemp sample extract was performed to determine total THC and quantitate an additional nine commonly analysed cannabinoids by GC/MS. The derivatisation allows for direct analysis and measurement of the thermally labile acids that are naturally occurring in hemp, which simplifies the determination of total THC
