Bio-Rad’s PIF supplement was designed to offer a high-performance solution with an easy protocol and time and cost savings. PIF Supplement was developed for infant formula, milk powder, cereals and related ingredients for producers and service laboratories that demand high-performance methods for Cronobacter, Enterobacteriaceae and Salmonella detection with a 1:4 dilution for large sample (up to 375g) analysis. This method has been optimised for detection with the iQ-Check real-time PCR kits and/or RAPID’Chromogenic media after an 18-hour enrichment.
