Food for thought: The pillars of food safety and its consequences for automation equipment

Jürgen Ganzmann of Endress+Hauser discusses how automation equipment manufacturers help food producers fulfill their food safety goals.

Q: What is your background and field of expertise?
A: I am an industrial engineer and currently work as the Global Industry Manager for the food and beverage industry at Endress+Hauser. In this role, I am responsible for leading different stakeholders within the company to develop the best offering for the industry. The goal is to help our customers ensure the safety and quality of their food products while reducing operational costs. Essentially, we help food producers around the world accomplish their business goals. I started my career at Endress+Hauser 14 years ago and since then, have held various positions within the company, always close to the food and beverage industry. I assumed my current position in 2019.
