Salmonella symptoms and recall information
Salmonella infection typically develops within 12 to 72 hours of consuming contaminated food and can last for up to a week. While most people recover without treatment, the illness can be more dangerous for children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
Common symptoms include fever, nausea, vomiting and abdominal cramps, and in some cases bloody diarrhoea. People experiencing these symptoms should stay away from work, school or nursery until they have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing the infection to others.
If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to where you bought it. Customers seeking further information can contact the company at info@good4u.ie.

The recall comes amid several recent food safety alerts across the UK retail sector.

Meanwhile, Aldi recalled The Fishmonger Hot Smoked 2 Salmon Fillets – Honey Roasted due to a labelling error involving an incorrect use-by date.
