Tackle food waste to fix our food systems

I write this column whilst wearing shorts and being hit by glorious sunshine looking out at the blue skies above London, a far cry from the cold and grey landscape that winter can bring. By the time this has been sent to the editor my garden is now a blanket of snow. This isn’t filler or classic British small talk, I promise, but as something spoken about on a second by second basis the weather is the first indication that our climate is changing before our very eyes.
