Princes Group unveils new CEO

Simon Harrison has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Princes Group following his position as deputy Managing Director at the company.

Sharing leadership changes, international food and drink manufacturer Princes Group has appointed Simon Harrison as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), taking over from Cameron Mackintosh.

Previously, Harrison was deputy Managing Director at the company, stepping up to this role in June 2023.

“I’m delighted to have been appointed as CEO to lead this fantastic business on its next phase of growth and to capitalise on the significant opportunities available to us, whilst continuing our unique mission of ‘proudly offering great tasting choices for everyone without costing the earth’,” said Harrison.

The recently appointed CEO’s experience in the sector includes more than 20 years of FMCG commercial and leadership expertise across brand and trade marketing, sales and operations to the role.

Stepping up to the plate: Joanna Trewern

Before joining Princes Group, Harrison worked for three years at Cola European Partners (CCEP), where he was Vice President of Commercial Development.

Commenting on Harrison’s appointment, Kazuhito Suematsu, Chairman of Princes Group, said: “Under Simon’s tenure as deputy managing director, our business has gained significant momentum. He will continue to accelerate this growth as CEO. Having overseen major investment into Princes infrastructure in recent years, Cameron Mackintosh will be leaving the business, and we wish him well for the future.”
