Co-op has recalled its Mini Pork & Pickle Pies after milk was left off the label, posing a risk to allergy sufferers.

Co-op has recalled its 4 Mini Pork & Pickle Pies after discovering undeclared milk in the product, posing “a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”
Announced on 8 August, the recall covers all 200g packs with use-by dates of 13, 14 and 16 August 2025.
Following guidance from the Food Standards Agency (FSA), Co-op is contacting relevant allergy support organisations to alert their members, and has placed point-of-sale notices in stores to explain the recall and guide customers on what to do if they have purchased the pies.
In its customer notice, Co-op said:
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance are urged not to eat the pies. Instead, they should return the product to the store of purchase for a full refund or replacement, subject to availability.
Customers who bought online can request a refund by calling 0330 041 7737, and Co-op’s Careline is available on 0800 0686 727 or via its website.
This recall follows a similar incident last week, when Lidl withdrew its Red Hen 4 Tempura Chicken Steaks after the label failed to clearly highlight the presence of milk in bold.
