UNIDO ITO is teaming up for this year’s Award with the Future Food Institute of Bologna, which promotes innovation in the field of nutrition.  The  contest is open to startups and companies, researchers and universities, research and technology transfer centres, associations and NGOs across the world. There will be seven categories within the awards, including one for women, one for those aged under 35 years, a category focusing on the connection between food, climate change and biodiversity and a special mention for any project that is potentially innovative for the future of agribusiness in relation to developing countries.

UNIDO ITPO Italy will offer a package of services to the winners to help them implement their winning proposals.

The award ceremony will take place on 15 May 2019 in Rome as part of EXCO 2019, the global expo dedicated to  national and international cooperation.
