The agenda and papers for next month’s open Board meeting have been published. The meeting will be held in London on Tuesday 5 November 2013. It will begin at 1pm and will be chaired by FSA Chair Tim Bennett. You can attend in person or watch it live online.

The agenda includes discussion on these items:

  • update on horse meat action plan
  • BSE: a report on surveillance and enforcement of controls on specified risk material and animal feed
  • UK local authority food law enforcement annual report 2012/13
  • annual update on nutrition in Scotland and Northern Ireland
  • local authority audit rating scheme in Wales

Question and answer session

At the end of the meeting, there will be a question-and-answer session where members of the public are encouraged to ask questions or make comments on any of the matters discussed by the Board or raise any other issues relating to our work.
