Arla Foods Ingredients has won international recognition from the global research organisation Frost & Sullivan for excellent customer service and innovative products. Among the reasons for the award was Arla’s success with the Twintell® programme designed to create better results for customers.

The “2010 Global Dairy Proteins Customer Value Enhancement Award “ as best provider of customer service has been awarded to Arla Foods Ingredients by the global research organisation Frost & Sullivan. The decision was based on a range of factors, including the newly developed Twintell® programme.

Twintell® is the term for the structured process created by Arla Foods Ingredients to help customers develop new products faster and more efficiently. The process assists external customers right from the initial concept phase to the finished product and has been enthusiastically welcomed by customers.

“It’s encouraging to know that Twintell and its well-structured process has made such a great impression,” says Henrik Andersen, CEO of Arla Foods Ingredients. “It’s a key tool for managing the product development phase and we can now prove that we can deliver on our promises.”

Successful product development was another important reason behind the award. Frost & Sullivan highlighted the product cGMP, a special protein developed for individuals who are unable to tolerate conventional proteins from milk and other sources. The disease – known as Föllings disease – severely restricts the individual’s choice of food. But with Arla’s cGMP product, it will be possible to develop more “normal” foods such as milk, cheese and yogurt for Föllings disease sufferers.

Arla Foods Ingredients is delighted to receive an award from one of the world’s largest market research companies which looked into many different factors before identifying the best company in the market.

“It’s obviously great to be appreciated,” says Henrik Andersen. “The fact that Frost & Sullivan have drawn attention to some of the areas where we have put in an extra effort is particularly pleasing. It proves that focusing on effective processes and products pays off.”
