Advantages of Pulsed UV Light R&D systems from SteriBeam over SteriPulse RS 3000 XL by Xenon Corp.:

Major parameters of the SteriPulse RS 3000 XL by Xenon Corp. have been compared with parameters of the fully automatic two lamp system with an interactive LCD display XeMaticA-2LFA and with the basic one lamp semi-automatic XeMaticA-SA-1L. The comparison Table shows that SteriBeam systems have many advantages over the system from Xenon Corp. as following: both are one compact bench-tops, whereas the PL system Xenon Corp. has three large pieces, both have water cooled Xe-gas filled flash lamps, preventing a heat wave to samples (generated by the air cooled flash lamp of the Xenon system ), ours has almost silent operation, whereas an air blower on the Xenon system is very loud, both our systems have changeable distances between the sample shelf and lamps vs. fixed positioned at the Xenon system, ours have changeable reflectors of various sizes, allowing to vary UV fluxes at the same pulse energy, and this feature is absent feature at Xenon, ours have much higher UVC doses per pulse at same energies as Xenon system has, ours both have convenient operations with visible controls, absent on the Xenon System. In addition, semi-automatic has its pulse energy up to 1000 J/pulse, allowing UVC fluxes up to 2J/cm²/pulse and 1J/cm²/pulse for our fully automatic, whereas the system from Xenon has a few times lower UVC pulse fluxes. The fully automatic system has a convenient colored interactive 5.7” display, whereas the system from Xenon has toggle switchers and no displays whatsoever. In all, SteriBeam systems have a higher performance to price ratio. The actual Table is available on request.
